Description |
We downloaded and setup Cypress v3.2 on 8/4. When we started testing we noticed multiple measures failing. On investigation, we noticed that the input QRDA Cat I that Cypress was generating were missing multiple data points. The same patient when we drill-down to look at the patient details had information (e.g. a condition or a procedure) that was missing in the QRDA file downloaded. "Get known good results" produced a QRDA file that's different from the one in the input. When we say the above, we have accounted for duplicate files where clinical data is spread across 2 or more files. I have attached an example (7_Shirley_Mathis.xml is from "known good results" where as "13_Shirley_Mathis" and "14_Shirley_Mathis" are the original input test data set). I looked through the open issues, but didn't find anyone else having such issues. Not sure, if we are missing something altogether. We initially setup a VM instance, and also followed it up with a full-blown custom installation to see if we are missing anything out. |

This has been addressed in the Cypress 3.2.1 patch released on August 10th. Download and upgrade instructions can be found here (https://github.com/projectcypress/cypress/wiki/Cypress-3-Install-Instructions) -Dave |

Sudhir- Could you contact your test proctor to check which Cypress version they will be using for certification. It is likely they will still be using Cypress 3.1.0 to test the eCQMs for the 2017 Performance Period. -Dave Czulada |

Hi David, Am also facing same issue with Multiple measures, we have certification scheduled in September 1st week. Can you please let us know dates when this patch is expected to be released. I may need to speak with our Proctor how to do ongoing testing with this bugs. |

Gnana- Thanks. This is a bug on the Cypress side. In cases where the patient is split by "data type" Cypress is exporting the same "split" patient file twice. This is omitting some relevant information. This will be fixed in an upcomming patch. -Dave Czulada |

Dave, I have attached them. Thanks |

Gnana Could you attach both zip files to this ticket? (known good, and test deck) Thanks |

Dear Dave, In this specific case, the procedures "Procedure, Performed: Hemodialysis" and "Procedure, Performed: Kidney Transplant" are not appearing in either "13_Shirley_Mathis.xml" or "14_Shirley_Mathis.xml", but are clearly expected and rightly show up in the "Known good results". I have attached the whole input set and you can see that none of the documents have either of the procedures mentioned above. Thanks Thanks |

Gnana We've actually discussed this topic a few times in the Cypress Tech Talks preceding the 3.2 release, most recently on July 18th. You can view the tech talks here (https://www.healthit.gov/cypress/techtalks.html). In Cypress 3.2 we expanded the variability in patient duplication. The Cypress test patient follow the same pattern when being duplicated: Introduce duplicate files with modifications to a patient’s name and demographics
Introduce duplicate files with modifications to a patient’s clinical information
