      Hello,
      I am looking for clarification for the mapping of the HH-PI measure.
      If the patient arrives in the ED at 10:05 and the order to admit is 11:30. Will the start time for the encounter then be 11:30am?
      If the patient arrives in the ED at 9:30, and is placed in observation status at 10:20 (still OP status), and then the order to admit is given the following day @ 830am: Is the start of the "encounter" 8:30 am? And will the 24 hours and 72 hours in the measure start effective 8:30am?

      Will the POA coding be based on the admission time?
