Thank you for your inquiry regarding CMS125v13 (2025 Performance Period). It is correct that the Breast Cancer Screening eCQM for Performance Period 2025 states "Percentage of women 50-74 years of age who had a mammogram to screen for breast cancer in the 27 months prior to the end of the Measurement Period". You may reference this ONC Jira ticket for more information. https://oncprojectracking.healthit.gov/support/browse/CQM-7000. Please note that we have incorporated the USPSTF guidelines which includes the lower age range in the most recent publication of this measure for performance year 2026. Please refer to the measure specification: https://ecqi.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/ecqm/measures/CMS125-v14.0.000-QDM.html.

For inquiries about CMS quality program reporting requirements or other quality measure collection types (e.g., MIPS CQM), please contact the QPP Helpdesk at QPP@cms.hhs.gov.

We participate in an MSSP Enhanced ACO. We use a third-party vendor to aggregate our data across all participants in our ACO since multiple EMRs are used. We generate QRDA I files out of our instance of Epic and send them to the third-party vendor. We need to report out CQMs and not eCQMs. We have an issue this year with reporting Breast Cancer screening because the measure specs are different for eCQMs vs CQMs, specifically the age range for patients included in the measure. The QRDA I files that we generate are built off of the eCQM measure specs and can't be built off of the CQM measure specs. Does CMS have any plans to align the age range for this measure? It is making it difficult for us to report for our MSSP Enhanced ACO.
