    • I am unable to determine if possible to query and where should the information be placed. Or if it doesnt matter the contraindication and is not counted toward numerator but is the denominator.

      VTE 1- Where does the medical contraindications go for VTE measure. Numerator or Denominator or Demominator exclusions or numerator/denominator both.  I am unable to open or find what is referenced in a previous submission. I still do not know if numerator inclusion, denominator exclusion or both.

We recommend that you review the Medical Reason For Not Providing Treatment value set (OID 2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.473). Specifically, this value set includes a category of medication reasons for No VTE prophylaxis. For example, code 410536001 Contraindicated (qualifier value).
