Thank you for your inquiry regarding CMS125v12 (2024 Performance Period) and CMS125v13 (2025 Performance Period). It is correct that the Breast Cancer Screening eCQM for Performance Period 2024 and Performance Period 2025 state "Percentage of women 50-74 years of age who had a mammogram to screen for breast cancer in the 27 months prior to the end of the Measurement Period". You may reference this ONC Jira ticket for more information. https://oncprojectracking.healthit.gov/support/browse/CQM-7000.

I would like to seek clarification regarding CMS125v12. When reviewing the 2024 & 2025 Measure Description from CMS it states, "Percentage of women 40 - 74 years of age who had a mammogram to screen for breast cancer in the 27 months prior to the end of the measurement period." However, the information available on the eCQI database indicates, "Percentage of women 50-74 years of age who had a mammogram to screen for breast cancer in the 27 months prior to the end of the Measurement Period." Should the eCQI be updated to include the population of women aged 40-49?
