Thank you for your inquiry regarding CMS136v12 (2023 performance period). Per Bonnie (https://bonnie.healthit.gov/), two of the same encounters on the same day would count towards the numerator criteria (i.e., two psychotherapy visits on 2/1). The measure developer will consider adding the requirement that two encounters be on different days in a future measure version.

For any specific questions regarding Bonnie, please submit to the Bonnie and MAT Issue Tracker: https://oncprojectracking.healthit.gov/support/projects/BONNIEMAT/summary.

    • NUM Qualification with Duplicate Encounters

For PY 2023 Bonnie Tool V4.3.1 [ https://bonnie-prior.healthit.gov/ ] Qualifies (adds to NUM count ) the same encounter type multiple times for the same dates where as our Application does not meet the NUM criteria. We need clarification if Bonnie consideration is right ? as it does not happen in Real world Scenario .
