CMS117/NQF 0038 Numerator- Clarification needed for Seropositive test result for the antigen as it is there in Guidance but Not Present in Data Criteria

    • Please clarify whether seropositive test result for the antigen has to be taken into consideration Or NOT.

      You should not have to include it in the configuration. We removed the Seropositive Grouping Value Set from the measure because we put in the actual tests and results that indicate someone is seropositive. For example: for Hepatitis A, there is a line of logic allowing for a positive antigen result to meet the numerator "Laboratory Test, Performed: Anti Hepatitis A IgG Antigen Test (result: Positive Finding)". Here is the associated value set: "Laboratory Test, Performed: Anti Hepatitis A IgG Antigen Test" using "Anti Hepatitis A IgG Antigen Test Grouping Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.464.1003.198.12.1033)"

    •  I am unable to complete configuration of the 2018 CMS 117/NQF 0038 measure until this question is answered.

      For CMS 117/ NQF 0038
      guidance speaks as below
      For the MMR, hepatitis B, VZV and hepatitis A vaccines, numerator inclusion criteria include: evidence of receipt of the recommended vaccine; documented history of the illness; or, a seropositive test result for the antigen.
      Numerator Description speaks
      Children who have evidence showing they received recommended vaccines, had documented history of the illness, had a*+ seropositive test result,+* or had an allergic reaction to the vaccine by their second birthday

      But,
      "Seropositive Grouping Value Set (2.16.840.1.113883.3.464.1003.110.12.1054)" is NOT in version 6 of CMS 117/NQF 0038.

      Please clarify whether "Seropositive Grouping Value Set" has to be Included while doing configuration or Not ?
