Is CY2018 valueset for all 4 quarters or just the first 3 quarters of CY2018

      Not clarifying if the value set published on VSAC for the CY2018 reporting period is for all 4 quarters in CY2018 or just the first 3 quarters can lead to a lot of software development effort in a very short period of time if such an announcement is made later in the year. Such changes announced later in the year has the potential for hospitals not being able to meet the electronic submission deadline for CY2018 reporting

      CMS released the updated value sets for CY2018 annual updates on Spetmeber 29, 2017.

      On the VSAC website it states that these value sets are effective for Q1 to Q4 of CY2018 (see attachment).

      Is that really correct?

      Are the value sets for Q1 to Q4 of CY2018 or are they only for Q1 to Q3 of CY2018 and that CMS will issue an updated value set for 4Q 2018 later during the year?

      We would appreciate if you can clarify this in advance, otherwise as you can see from the JIRA ticket CQM-2804 - this can lead to a lot of software development effort in a very short period of time if such an announcement is made later in the year.
