ONC FAST Exchange Tiger Team: Proposed Solutions, Challenges, and Work Remaining

Join the FHIR at Scale Taskforce (FAST) on December 19, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for an update from the Exchange Tiger Team. They have been working hard to address technical barriers related to FHIR-based data exchange, including:

  1. How do we consistently and reliably exchange clinical data across a hybrid system where partners may use one or more intermediaries for technical and business operations?
  2. How do we standardize metadata exchange?

This session will cover this proposed solution:

  • Reliable Routing with Metadata Across Intermediaries

In addition, this session will highlight any gaps and challenges which may impact these possible solutions and outline the remaining work to be done.
