The Data Provenance Initiative is seeking organizations interested in piloting the Use Case and Functional Requirements developed by the community. Pilots will be instrumental in developing a harmonized, workable, technical solution to the real-world challenges of being able to effectively convey where data originated. Through this process, pilots will be helping define a more interoperable way to share provenance information with clinical decision makers.

Benefits of being a DPROV Pilot Participant

  • Ability to leverage initiative resources. Build on the expertise, tools and any open-source code developed through the Data Provenance Initiative to create a better, faster, and higher quality implementation.
  • Contribute to the community. Each pilot would have significant visibility with Government agencies, ONC grantees, and within the community of volunteers that support health information exchange.
  • Be recognized as an early adopter.
  • Use participation in this important national initiative to heighten your organization’s name recognition.

Standards Analysis Crosswalk

The Standards Analysis Crosswalk is a tool that allows the pilots to see what data elements for Data Provenance are supported by which standards. It has been completed by our Subject Matter Experts with standards drawn directly from our Functional Requirements and Use Case documents. The crosswalks will be combined into one resource as more SMEs provide their input.
