The December 2013 version of the Quality Data Model (QDM) specifies definitions for categories and data types along with associated fields. The way that this information is structured in the document is repetitive. This section of the document should be restructured to group common fields by category, and to provide common definitions for fields at the top level where possible. This would allow listing the definitions for fields in a single location and then referencing those fields on the data type rather than duplicating the definition repeatedly. Additionally, there are numerous fields listed that have a definition of TBD. Any fields with a definition of TBD should be considered for removal from the QDM and associated support should be removed from the Measure Authoring Tool.
