The current QDM operators are not expressive enough to handle finding the event that has the smallest distance in time from a given event. Should consider either adding a temporal operator to handle this, or provide a more general temporal sorting capability.

This is currently needed in AMI_7a (CAU-11) to identify the ECG performed closest to arrival, either before or after hospital arrival time.
