CMS145v9/CMS145v10 – CQL logic “Qualifying CAD Encounter and Prior MI” doesn’t include LVSD that starts prior to the second qualifying encounter, which may cause patients with both prior MI and LVSD to be erroneously included in both populations 1 and 2.

Issue – Measure logic may not restrict patients to a single population if they have both myocardial infarction (MI) within the past 3 years and a current or prior LVEF < 40% (or moderate or severe LVSD), and the LVSDFindings start after the first qualifying encounter and before the end of the second qualifying encounter.
