Reporting Period in the Cypress Test files must align with the CMS Hybrid Measures reporting period.
For year 2022, the Hybrid Measures reporting period is July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023.
(Note - This is not a CY and it is different from the eCQM Reporting period which is CY2022 i.e Jan 1, 2022 - Dec 31, 2022)

    • Logic/Intent/Data Elements Question

For year 2022, the Hybrid Measures reporting period is July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023. Please see attached

However the test files from Cypress for certification testing for Hybrid Measures include dates from Jan 1, 2022 - Dec 31, 2022. These dates do not align with the reporting period for hybrid measures. I have attached a test file generated from Cypress 6.2.2.1 for Hybrid Measures for your reference (Note - I had to save the file as a .pdf since Jira will not allow me to attach a .xml file.)

      Expected

The cypress test files that are exported for certification testing of hybrid measures for year 2022 should have a date range between July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. Otherwise, vendors may not be able to successfully complete certification testing and still be aligned with the CMS reporting requirements for Hybrid Measures.
