I might be misinterpreting Denominator 2 for CMS 145 for 2021, but something is off as Cypress expects patients to appear in different buckets.

      Denominator 1:

      • Initial population
      • Qualifying CAD Encounter
      • Moderate or Severe LVSD

      Denominator 2:

      • Initial Population
      • Qualifying CAD Encounter
      • Diagnosis of Myocardial Infarction (within 3 years before CAD encounter)
      • No Moderate or Severe LVSD

Because of this, I am pretty sure that any patient in Denominator 1 can't be in Denominator 2.
Any patient in Denominator 1 must have Moderate or Severe LVSD before a qualifying CAD encounter, but Denominator 2 requires that the patient does not have Moderate or Severe LVSD.

In cypress I have a patient that is supposed to be in both Denominator 1 and 2, and I don't get how.

I mean maybe if they had more than the 2 required visits for IP and had the first two visits without Moderate or Severe LVSD and the third one had Moderate or Severe LVSD, but the patients I check with cypress only have the two.

Can you shed some light on what the logic is supposed to be?
