Cypress version 3.2.1 has introduced De-Deuplication and generates the duplicate QRDA cat I files or HTML file for same patient having changes in its demographic details.

In this regard, Do we have to always create new patient for each QRDA 1 file received or we need to update patient record if it already exists?

Our EMR system provides option to auto import patient data by QRDA1 files. We import/create the patient as per first file and for second file received for same patient name we are unable to find out
if that patient exist in our system as its name or dob or gender has been changed. Can you tell us the unique identifier against which we can identify the patient and than update his data as per 2nd received file?

For example we receive two QRDA Cat 1 file for same patient. In one file patient name is “Lisa Watson” and second file patient name is “Lisa Wat”.
How can we identify that which file is correct and we should create or update that patient and based on which unique identification?
