    • Unable to implement NQF0469 due to errors in published exclusion valueset

I'm trying to understand how we can certify our EHR to NQF0469 when the SNOMED-CT exclusion codes are incorrect. (See CQM-964.)

Our problem list is coded using SNOMED-CT and we were expecting to use this code set in capturing the data for NQF0469, but you have now agreed with our assessment that the SNOMED-CT codes in the officially published exclusion list are incorrect. I understand that the corrected exclusion list will only be released in the next annual update which is some months away, but our customers want to be able to use the quality measure sooner than that and we need to be certified to it. I don't want to code for the "nonsense" that is currently in the exclusion list, but if we try to do something more "intelligent" we may find ourselves to be noncompliant.

Your guidance is requested how we can proceed to implement NQF0469 and receive ONC certification for this measure, in light of the incorrect codes in the official exclusion valueset.
