OP-40 STEMI Clean Cath upon Cath Assessment - Need Recommendation.

    • I found an inquiry from 2023 in which this was asked. No recommendation was given. It was said that this was going to be evaluated for specification updates. Has there been any progress in this work?

    • Our STEMI data is skewed d/t patients going to the cath lab for a STEMI and not requiring a PCI upon cath assessment.

      There are patients within the IPP-Denominator that are showing a STEMI upon arrival.  The patient goes to the cath lab within 90 min time frame and upon assessment is found to have a clean cath or a requirement for cardiothoracic eval.  The patient therefore, does not have have a PCI procedure.  These patients are showing up in the denominator as a failure to for the numerator.  What do you recommend be done for these patients?
