      Documentation of maternal depression screening could be in the infant’s chart before the infant’s six month birthday. If the organization can link to the mother’s record, documentation of maternal depression screening in the maternal record prior to the infant’s six month birthday would count as well.

      QUESTION CMS82v2: The denominator for this measure is an infant less than 6 months of age…not the mother. However, the NUM requires “Children with documentation of maternal screening or treatment for postpartum depression for the mother.” Thus, we are unsure how to capture this information in the baby’s chart
