      Thank you for your inquiry regarding CMS117v14 (2026 Performance Period). This measure reflects the standard immunization schedule recommended for children under 2 years of age. At this time, PCV21 is not included because it is not approved or recommended for use in children; both ACIP and AAP guidelines confirm this. Until clinical recommendations change for children, PCV21 will not be added to the Childhood Immunization Status measure.

      I am reaching out as I had previously submitted (several months ago) about the configuration issue for PCV-20 missing from the measure.  It was subsequently added and rates improved (at least for our organization) for 2025.  As we are now using PCV-21 vaccine, has/will PCV-21 vaccine be configured for 2026 measure and updated for 2025 as well.
