We are seeking clarification on the intended interpretation of the requirement used in CMS334 for the following functions:
- LastGravida
- LastParity
- LastHistoryPretermBirth
- LastHistoryTermBirth
The Logic specifies:
Global."EarliestOf"(assessment.relevantDatetime, assessment.relevantPeriod)
42 weeks or less before PCMaternal."LastTimeOfDelivery"(Encounter)
Could you confirm the intended interpretation and granularity of the “42 weeks or less” criteria? What level of DateTime precision is expected when evaluating the “42 weeks or less before” interval:
- Should “42 weeks” be evaluated as a Complete 7 day week Calculation or as 294 days?
- Should the comparison use full DateTime precision, including hours, minutes, and seconds?
- Should the interval be rounded up or down when the assessment time falls slightly outside the 42-week boundary? For example, if an assessment occurs 42 weeks + 1 hour before the delivery timestamp, should this be considered outside the 42-week window? I have attached the three xml files here to illustrate this question.
