      An order for a consult for Palliative or Hospice Care would meet the requirements for the denominator exclusion, regardless of the outcome of the consultation.

      I have seen conflicting answers to whether an order for a palliative care consult is sufficient for all of the eCQMs that use the Comfort Measures exclusion?  It is my understanding it does not meet the intent of comfort, terminal or end of life care and should not mapped to those values.
