Could you please let us know why G tube route is not one of the accepted forms by CMS of the administration of medication? We discharged a patient home on Aspirin 81 mg per G tube as per physician's order. Order was written for 81 mg, G-tube, Daily, 0 refills (s) for patient at discharge. However, during validation of this case, we discovered that there was a failure for STK 2 due to "G-Tube" being the route. We are interested in learning why this patient did not pass this measure, as in our humble opinion the route of G tube should be acceptable. Please let us know your thoughts. Thank you
