    • Cerner has the ability to pull in claims data and other (outside) EHR documentation to satisfy our eCQMs for MIPS and ACO reporting. Is this allowed?

Hello, Does CMS allow data from claims or other systems to count towards our quality measures? If Cerner/Oracle allows claims data and other (outside) system data to flow into our reporting system and qualify a patient as met, but the test wasn't completed within our local EHR, will CMS allow this as a met for a patient? For example, a patient is seen by one of our providers as a PCP, and is diabetic, can we use an A1C test that was completed at an outside hospital (via claims data or healtheregistries data), to qualify as met for our CMS122 measure reporting? Or does CMS only accept a patient "met" with an A1C value that was documented locally within our system? Thanks!
