      Thank you for your question. The implementation is determining if the patient fails the numerator test by look for reasons why the therapy was not prescribed. This reasoning is captured in the denominator exceptions. The denominator exception logic will be updated to include the construct "Medication, Discharge not done" and also retain the construct "Medication, Order not done" during the next EH eCQM annual update.

      Perhaps I'm missing something, but shouldn't the denominator exclusion in Stroke 2 (435) be "Medication, Discharge not done..." instead of "Medication, Order not done..."? The numerator is looking at "Medication, Discharge", not "Medication, Order".

      Also, Stroke 3 (436) uses "Medication, Discharge not done..." in the denominator exclusion.
