      Thank you for your inquiry about CMS2v14, CMS122v13 and CMS165v13. These measures currently do not exclude those patients who are incarcerated. Patients who meet measure criteria should be included. For example, for CMS2v14 (Preventive Care and Screening: Screening for Depression and Follow-Up Plan), if these patient encounters are billed using one of the allowable codes in the “Encounter to Screen for Depression” value set, then the patients should be included in the eCQM reporting.

    • Do we have to report on these patients

      Hello,

      Our providers see incarcerated patients and document notes in our EHR. Do we have to include these patients in our clinic eCQMs or are incarcerated patients excluded in eCQMs? Thansk!
