Glucose management indicator [GMI] was added as an acceptable method to assess numerator compliance in addition to the existing Hemoglobin A1c.  

Our organization does not store the GMI in a discrete field in the patient's medical record.  We are seeing clarification if organization's who are currently only able to electronically capture the hemoglobin A1c test/value and are not able to capture the GMI are able to still report this eCQM for MIPS eCQM reporting.
