    • Potentially erroneous results across our entire system of eligible clinician clinics.

We are reviewing the CMS177v12 (Child and Adolescent Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): Suicide Risk Assessment) measure. We are questioning the definition of a qualifying encounter. We have a patient who was seen in the ED and admitted to an acute care bed for psychiatry care. The patient participated in group therapy and psychotherapy during the Inpatient Encounter, do those therapy encounters qualify for the CMS 177 measure?

Also, do assessments completed in the ED and Inpatient settings count toward meeting the measure?
