      Thank you for your inquiry on CMS108v12, Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis. The time that the medication was administered to the patient is recorded in EHR and submitted by QRDA file as a dateTime type. A point of time (i.e., 10/01/2024 at 8:00AM) or a period time (i.e., start dateTime 10/01/2024 at 8:00AM and end dateTime 10/01/2024 at 9:00AM) will be presented in the EHR and QRDA file. When the medication administration dateTime is processed against the logic, only the date (i.e., 10/01/2024) will be used for measure calculation, where it is used for comparisons for logic "day of or day after admission date".

      Can you please clarify if the time of administration of any of the medications that apply to any of the elements of these measures is required to be submitted or if only the date of administration is what is required in the QRDA file for either of these measures.  Below are a few examples of logic...
