      This situation is for patients who already have depression, now that they are included in this screening measure.  We have patients who are screened at their AWV by their PCP, and already are taking a medication for depression and/or are being seen by our BH providers for their depression.  They still score positive on the date of the AWV.  However, since their medication is active, we cannot re-order the medication on that date, and they are already referred to and seeing BH, so we cannot refer again.  How do we meet the follow-up for these patients, since we are already doing the items needed for the follow-up?  The provider will note that the patient is being managed by BH and are on a med, but our EMR will not count any of that because the action of placing the order for the med or the referral wasn't on the date of the screening, so we are stuck.
