      As there is no construct in the QDM that restricts the provider, the standard across all EP CQM's is that the numerator action is not restricted to the index provider. Therefore, the action of any user counts towards the numerator or excludes from the numerator. In particular for this measure, if Provider A initiated therapy, it would be reasonable to expect the patient to have either a drop of 10 mm Hg or a reading of <140/90 after 6 months, regardless of who actually takes the blood pressure reading

      NUM Question:
      Does the Occurrence B and Occurrence A encounter for Blood Pressure (BP) Performed have to be the same rendering provider? OR could Occurrence A Encounter BP performed completed by Provider A and then Occurrence B Encounter BP performed completed by Provider B?
