We have questions/ concerns about the Inclusion criteria for the outpt STEMI measure.

Inclusion issue - There have been tickets entered in JIRA that discuss the CMS rules for coding a STEMI.  Coding is capturing a STEMI diagnosis with any ED visits 4 weeks after the true STEMI encounter. (Example) So, if the patient returns with Pneumonia at week three- They are inappropriately being tagged as a STEMI patient and will fail as no STEMI interventions will have been completed on the patient.

We respectfully request the measure stewards discuss the outstanding issues with hospitals with different EMR, Coding experts, and vendors who specialize in capturing this measure data and the actual workflows of hospitals to ensure this measure genuinely reflects what the measure stewards hope to achieve.

Any Advice to correctly capture the desired results is appreciated.
