When a PHQ2 and PHQ9 are administered and documented at the same time (a cascading PHQ2/9 screening tool includes the scores for the PHQ2 and PHQ9 scores) and the PHQ2 score is negative and the PHQ9 score is positive, which score do we use? The current logic in our electronic health record looks to the first score, the PHQ2. Thank you for your guidance.
