Thank you for your question about CMS334v5: Cesarean Birth. Within the logic, the portion referencing “NormalizeInterval” makes it possible to accept either an interval’s start and end points if available or only the relevant DateTime if that’s all that is available. However, a surgical procedure time period with a start time without an end time is not acceptable; and checking for only the Cesarean Birth’s start DateTime will not fulfill the condition.

      Hi Team,

Below mentioned are statements from cms334v5:

      Delivery Encounter with Cesarean Birth
"Singleton Delivery Encounters at 37 Plus Weeks Gravida 1 Parity 0, No Previous Births" QualifyingEncounter
with ["Procedure, Performed": "Cesarean Birth"] CSection
          such that Global."NormalizeInterval" ( CSection.relevantDatetime, CSection.relevantPeriod ) during PCMaternal."HospitalizationWithEDOBTriageObservation" ( QualifyingEncounter )

      Query:
Kindly assist us on the validation time period for Cesarean Birth(CSection).
Is it mandatory to check start point(date) and end point(date) both for Cesarean Birth during PCMaternal."HospitalizationWithEDOBTriageObservation" ( QualifyingEncounter ) or checking only CSection.relevantDatetime(start) would suffice?

Kindly assist us on the above queries urgently as client deliverables are dependent upon it.
