When the delivery procedure type for cesarean births is captured via ICD-10 procedure codes/drg, our EHR provides a field to document the date but not the time.  The code is documented on the specific encounter (where admit date and time, discharge date and time, delivery date and time are all captured).

If the procedure code contains no specific time, can it still be used to evaluate patients for the numerator populate the numerator since the procedure is documented in the relevant period of the encounter?

Allow the procedure code for cesarean birth to be used to include patients in the numerator, even when there is no time recorded and the date is the sale as the admit date.
