I'm writing to address a recurring issue we've observed with OP-40 measurement in STEMI cases. In numerous instances, patients have been taken to the Cath Lab following a STEMI diagnosis, but no culprit lesion requiring PCI was found upon imaging. PCI procedure was ruled not medically necessary. These patients are still counted towards the measure denominator and as a fail case. Is there anything in the future development of the measure that will address issue.
