Our facility is experiencing an issue with the new STEMI eCQM.

For individuals presenting to the ED with an initial NEGATIVE EKG that subsequently develop STEMI during the course of treatment, these pts are counted as fallouts, even when given fibrinolytics within 30 min of POSITIVE EKG and/or transfer to higher level of care within 45 min of positive EKG.

Please advise how to accurately capture treatment/data on these individuals.
