      Hello,

I would like to inquire about a specific aspect of the eCQM OP-40 for STEMI Times.

I have read through the details of OP-40 and have a question.

There are at times scenarios when a STEMI occurs in the ED, is taken to cath lab, and no PCI is performed. For example if the lesion cannot be crossed with a device.

What is the approach we should take when building this metric in these scenarios? Would we exclude those patients or possible use the wire time?

To note: NCDR CathPCI uses the wire time for STEMIs that are unable to be crossed and unable to have a PCI performed.

      Thank you,
