      Thank you for your question regarding CMS506v6 Safe Use of Opioids - Concurrent Prescribing. We recognize that all cancers may not be captured by the value set. The intent is to identify cancers for which the use of opioid pain medications is likely. We will take this into consideration with the next update to the measure.

      Value Set: All Primary and Secondary Cancer OID 2.16.840.1.113762.1.4.1111.161

      We currently have patients with primary myelofibrosis that are not being excluded from CMS 506 - Safe Use of Opioids - Concurrent ePrescribing because this code is not included in the above value set (ICD 10 D47.1, SNOMED#307651005)

      Should this code be included in the value set as it is a blood cancer?
