      Thank you for your response to CMS986v2 Global Malnutrition Composite Score GMCS. The current logic prioritizes the presence of a Not at-Risk Result at any point during the encounter, regardless of the presence of an At Risk Result. However, please note that any additional Measure Observations (MO) completed will be counted against the numerator, while the denominator is 1. This will result in erroneously high scores. We are aware of issues related to measure logic for qualifying operator/ timeframes and are currently working towards a resolution to this issue.

      For CMS986v2, what would be the expected evaluation if there is more than one documentation of Nutrition Assessment or Screening during the Hospitalization with Observation timeframe, and the screening results are different?

      Example:

      Hospitalization with Observation period: 9/1 0800 - 9/10 0900

      • Encounter with Malnutrition Screening Not At Risk Result done 9/2 0800
      • Encounter with Malnutrition Screening At Risk Result done 9/3 0800

      The measure logic qualifying operator/timeframe is: 

      during Global."HospitalizationWithObservation" 

      Which screening/result should be evaluated when determining the measure observations and eligible denominator?
