Patient with ambulatory clinic encounter that had a STEMI dx. 

Ambulatory clinic encounters are kept open and auto-discharged at midnight (normal EHR process.)  Patient left ambulatory clinic and started emergency encounter. The emergency encounter does NOT have a STEMI diagnosis.

Should a patient with a non-emergency encounter with a STEMI dx that happens during the same timeframe as an Emergency encounter WITHOUT a STEMI dx still qualify for the STEMI eCQM population?
