We are seeing clarification on the Denominator Exclusion for ePC-07. The specs state the denominator exclusion as "Inpatient hospitalizations for patients with confirmed diagnosis of COVID with COVID-related respiratory condition or patients with confirmed diagnosis of COVID with COVID-related respiratory procedure". Does a patient have to have both the COVID diagnosis AND a COVID-related respiratory condition or a COVID-related respiratory procedure to be excluded? We have a patient who tested positive for COVID during the delivery encounter but no other documentation related to any COVID-related respiratory conditions or procedures. They are not showing as a denominator exclusion so I am just trying to confirm that the patient would need the diagnosis AND a COVID-related respiratory condition or procedure to be excluded.
