      Thank you for your question regarding CMS645v7: Bone density evaluation for patients with prostate cancer and receiving androgen deprivation therapy.

      For the definition “First ADT in 3 Months Before to 9 Months After Start of Measurement Period” you would calculate the ADT order interval from October 1st of the year prior to the measurement period through September 30th of the measurement period. You would not use October 1st of the measurement period year to determine the end of the interval because this is greater 9 months from the start of the measurement period.

      define "First ADT in 3 Months Before to 9 Months After Start of Measurement Period":
        First(("Androgen Deprivation Therapy for Urology Care Medication Active Start Dates"
            union "Androgen Deprivation Therapy for Urology Care Medication Order Start Dates")ADTDate
            with "Prostate Cancer Diagnosis" ProstateCancer
              such that ADTDate during ProstateCancer.prevalencePeriod
                and ADTDate during Interval[start of "Measurement Period" - 3 months, start of "Measurement Period" + 9 months]
            sort ascending
        )

      For the definition above we would calculate the ADT order interval from Oct. 1st through Oct. 1st. In this scenario patients with an order on Oct. 1st would be included for this year and the next. Should we include Oct. 1st at the end of this interval, or should we be stopping at Sept. 30th?
