      Brief Description of Measures:
      CMS117: Childhood Immunization Status

      CMS124: Cervical Cancer Screening

      CMS125: Breast Cancer Screening

      CMS130: Colorectal Cancer Screening

CMS136: Follow-Up Care for Children Prescribed ADHD Medication (ADD)

      CMS153: Chlamydia Screening in Women

CMS249: Appropriate Use of DXA Scans in Women Under 65 Years Who Do Not Meet the Risk Factor Profile for Osteoporotic Fracture

      CMS165: Controlling High Blood Pressure

      Description of Issue:
ICD-9 codes have not been in use for 10 years. Measure developers assume that organizations with diagnostic records or history have updated all applicable codes to be current for that condition (e.g., ICD10CM, SNOMEDCT). The measure developer would like to understand unintended implementation or reporting impacts associated with the removal of ICD-9 codes from grouping value sets.

      Rationale for Change:
ICD-9 removal would not impact measure logic as the same grouping OID will be used. This change would reduce maintenance burden.
