Brief Description of Measure: CMS147: Preventive Care and Screening: Influenza Immunization Percentage of patients aged 6 months and older seen for a visit between October 1 and March 31 who received an influenza immunization OR who reported previous receipt of an influenza immunization Description of Issue: The measure currently looks for patients "who received an influenza immunization OR who reported previous receipt of an influenza immunization". However, including patients who reported previous receipt of an influenza immunization is no longer necessary. The data criteria specific to "previous receipt" was specified in CMS147v10 ( https://ecqi.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/ecqm/measures/CMS147v10.html ) but removed in CMS147v11 ( https://ecqi.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/ecqm/measures/CMS147v11.html ) due to concerns with data requirements not meeting measure intent. However, the measure header has not been updated to remove this language.

Proposed Solution: The measure developer proposes removing this language from the measure header in order to align the header with measure logic and data requirements.
