When ePC02 was developed, Table 11.09 which is used in the chart abstracted measure was broken down into smaller value sets and redundant coding was removed that is applied within the measure logic. As updates are applied to the chart abstracted version which typically updates occur twice a year, they will be applied to the eCQM during the annual update process which occurs only once per year. We will continue to add new value sets or codes to existing value sets based on the updates to the chart-based measure.
