    • Patient falling into numerator from the start of the ED arrival time and not addressing the time of the positive STEMI diagnosis with the second EKG. This case is reporting in the denominator only as a fall out for this measure...

      Patient presents to the ED with arrival time of 1245. Initial EKG completed @ 1250 with impression of normal sinus rhythm, inferolateral ischemia. Repeat EKG @ 1417 with clinical impression normal sinus rhythm, right axis deviation, inferior and lateral ST-elevation myocardial infarction. TNKase 50mg IV  administered  @ 1456. Patient transferred for possible acute coronary intervention (activate cath lab).
