      As you noted, Maternal Age is listed as a Risk Adjustment variable in the meta data. We added the comment in parenthesis (derived from birthdate) as there is no specific Risk Variable for maternal age as there is for all the other risk variables. We derive the patient's age from the AgeInYearsAt function which is called by "PCMaternal.Encounter with Age Range". Let us know if you have additional questions.

      I do not see separate logic / definitions for 'maternal age' as a risk variable in the spec for ePC-07 but I do see it listed in the meta data in the spec. Is this an oversight or are you utilizing the maternal age from the definition of inpt encounter?

      PCMaternal.Encounter with Age Range

      • ["Encounter, Performed": "Encounter Inpatient"] EncounterInpatient
        where AgeInYearsAt(date from start of EncounterInpatient.relevantPeriod)>= 8
        and AgeInYearsAt(date from start of EncounterInpatient.relevantPeriod)< 65
        and EncounterInpatient.relevantPeriod ends during day of "Measurement Period"
