Value set " Thrombolytic (t-PA) Therapy" 2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.226 includes tenecteplase 50 MG Injection - RxNorm 313212 because it is prescribable and generic version of RxNorm. The medication value sets developed for the program contain RxNorm codes that are Semantic Clinical Drugs (SCD), generic, and prescribable. Currently this is the only SCD RxNorm code available for tenecteplase.
Semantic Clinical Drug (SCD) codes are generalizeable drug concepts. Each RxNorm clinical drug name reflects the active ingredients, strengths, and dose form comprising that drug. Your local medication codes need to be mapped to the SCD RxNorm codes found in the value set in order to satisfy the electronic clinical quality measure. If there are relevant updates to RXNORM we will consider adjustments to the value sets for the next Annual Update.

You can find more information about this in the eCQM Logic and Implementation Guidance located here: https://ecqi.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/eCQM-Logic-and-Guidance-v5.pdf in the section titled "Drug Representations Used in Value Sets".

The 25mg administration of tenecteplase is not in the current OID set for "Medication, Administered: Thrombolytic (t-PA) Therapy" using "Thrombolytic (t-PA) Therapy"

      OID: 2.16.840.1.113883.3.117.1.7.1.226

Are there plans to add the 25mg to the OID set?
