I am in the process of building test patients for the new Outpatient measure (CMS996) in Bonnie_Prior version.

In testing the denominator exclusions, I noticed they are not passing the path unless the relevant period (start and end date/time) for the exclusion is the same as the ED encounter relevant period (start and end date/time).

      Is this logic working correctly?

In reading the algorithm, I was thinking since the timing for all the exclusions reads ‘during “ED Encounter” relevantPeriod’, that as long as the date associated with the exclusion fell within the ED Encounter (start & end date/time) that it would pass.
